With Manya it was more about our relationship to the light. That light that illuminates us, that calls us towards good and clarity but that can also blind and overwhelm us. Manya reacts as the light penetrates the darkness that holds her. Her long dreadlocks act as a representation of our tentacles, our entanglements, that contrast the directionality and straightforwardness of the rays of light coming in from the surface. Immersed in the battle between light and dark she unwinds.
